How to pack my parcel

Proper package preparation is a good practice and a prerequisite for a successful transaction. During the packaging process, you should keep in mind that the item must be protected throughout the entire shipment , as it may pass through multiple handling points before reaching the recipient.
See below what you need to do so that your packages travel with complete safety.

Packaging selection

Make sure the box is both the right size for the item and strong enough to hold its weight. The item should fitcomfortablyinside it, while how heavy or fragile it is will also determine the choicequalityof the box. The two most common types of boxes are single-wall or reinforced.
We encourage the reuse of boxes only when they are in good condition, without damage and have old labels or tapes removed.

Packing

Make sure the object is away from corners, protected if necessary with anti-vibration materials, such as crumpled paper or plastic wrap. In the case of multiple objects, each of them should beindividually wrappedbefore placing it in the box. This is especially true for items that contain liquids, items that are fragile, or in gift packaging.

For proper packaging of fragile items, we recommend the following:

  • Bubble wrap
  • Foam sheet
  • Packaging paper
  • Paper with blisters
  • Packing peanuts
  • Airbags
  • Corrugated cardboard

Box closure

Use security tape to seal the package. Make sure that all edges and openings of the box are covered (H-shape), there is no access to the inside of the box and that the items “ do not rattle ” when you shake the box lightly.

Don’t forget to take some photos or videos during the packaging process. Read more information in the Parcel Shipping Process .

Important: If the package is not properly packaged and damaged during transit, the courier company may not cover the value of the product. It is extremely important to ensure that the packaging is secure to avoid any problems.

Label -Tracking code

Make sure the label is on the top of the package and not on the corners or sides so that its information is readable and immediately accessible.
