What are offers on listings?
On Vendora, buyers can make offers on listings. As a seller, you can manage the offers you receive through the chat.
How it works
I am a buyer
The offer amount can be up to 30% lower than the listed price. Shipping costs are not included in the offer amount.
- An offer cannot be higher than the listed price.
- Each submitted offer has an expiration date: if the seller takes no action within 3 days, the offer expires.
- A reminder is sent when 1 day remains before the offer expires.
- Additionally, buyers can cancel an offer at any time.
When submitting an offer, suggested options at 10% and 20% lower than the original price are available, or a custom amount can be entered – up to 30% below the listing price.
I am a seller
As a seller, it is possible to counteroffer, reject, or accept a buyer’s offer.
- Each offer has an expiration date: if no action is taken within 3 days, the offer expires.
- Buyers can offer up to 30% below the listed price, ensuring all offers remain within a fair range.
Buyers and sellers can exchange unlimited counteroffers until an offer is accepted, rejected, cancelled, or expires.
Creating a bundle of items
If you want to buy multiple items from the same seller, you can create a bundle.
This helps you save on shipping and negotiate a better price.
How it works:
- If you want to buy more than one item from the same seller, tap “Create Bundle” at the bottom of the listing.
- Alternatively, you can visit the seller’s profile and create a bundle by selecting the items you’re interested in.
- The bundle price updates each time you add or remove an item.
- When you’re done, tap “Create Bundle” to continue and submit your offer.
- Once the seller accepts the offer, they will choose a delivery method for the bundle so you can complete the payment.
Important details
When an offer is made on a listing, it applies only to the item price.
- The seller sets the price, and offers can be up to 30% lower than the listing price (excluding shipping).
- When submitting an offer, one of the suggested options (10% or 20% lower) can be selected, or a custom offer can be entered, as long as it remains within the 30% limit.
- To keep the platform running smoothly, rules apply regarding the frequency of offers.
- For a single listing, one active offer is allowed between the same buyer and seller at any given time.
For example: if an offer already exists on a listing, another offer cannot be created for the same listing until the existing offer is accepted, rejected, cancelled, or expires.
Up to 10 active offers in the same category are allowed at the same time.
For example: if there are already 10 active offers in the Mobile Phones category, one of those offers must be accepted, rejected, cancelled, or expire before another offer can be submitted in that category.
For bundles, up to 5 new bundle offers can be created within a rolling 24-hour period.
For example: if 5 bundle offers have already been created during the last 24 hours, another bundle offer can be submitted once one of those offers falls outside the 24-hour window.
Counteroffers do not count toward these limits.
Only the initial offer counts toward the category and bundle limits. Once an offer conversation has started, buyers and sellers can exchange unlimited counteroffers without affecting the available offer allowance.
Offers are not available for listings priced at €1 or less
