Charge vs Pre-authentication: What’s the difference?

When you place an order on Vendora , your bank may temporarily block (pre-authorize) the amount on your card. This is a standard procedure to ensure that the funds are available.

👉 Important : Vendora does not receive or hold this money unless the seller accepts the order.

If the seller does not accept the order, the payment remains only as a pre-authorization in your bank. In this case, Vendora does not receive the money and the pre-authorization is automatically released by your bank. This is not considered a refund , but a release of the hold.

How long will it take for the funds to appear in my account?
The time depends on your bank. In most cases, the funds are released within a few business days. Some banks may take up to 5 business days.

What should I do?
If the amount still appears to be on hold after the above period (5 business days), please contact your bank directly for confirmation and more details. Only your bank can give you accurate information on when the hold will be lifted.
